I adore this song and until today I had no idea how much airplay it got in my office!  I guess that’s what makes a good song - it just kinda makes it’s way into your day to day life - like a soundtrack.  Now if only I could get Claifornia  Gurls to play constantly  and then maybe it would be summer again(and I’d be living in a world much like Willy Wonka’s) !? Although maybe getting sick of Katy Perry!

My kitty always knows it’s ‘that time of day’ where I should stop working and give him some attention.  He’s snuggled up on my lap and started head-butting me.The most adorable alarm clock ever….

 In other news I had a little ‘carrie’ moment yesterday, although I didn’t realise til after.  I have a ‘Katie’ nameplate with a butterfly that was a gift from my late grandfather.  It split in two (the e broke off from the rest). I was in the car with mrsteve and I cried, like a baby.  Sentimental value is such an emotional thing.  I hope it can be repaired, maybe even strengthened? I don’t want a new one.

Thoughts?

I can’t concentrate on anything today and I’m not quite sure why…

I had a reasonable amount of sleep, more then usual even, I have eaten well, I’m drinking plenty and I have my gorgeous new mac to work on.

I’ve done little things but nothing that strikes me as overly constructive.

Maybe I’m just having one of those days………………….

In other news my house is basically rebuilt.  Only a few minor little thingy’s to go.
