Wow it’s been a while since I touched base. the crazy grape seems like forever ago, and yet it really wasn’t!
I haven’t been up to much, work is busy as all get-out (wow that sounds so ‘aussie’) and hopefully we can keep that up ![]()
I’m working on a marketing campaign, huzzah! It’s going to be a letter box drop - just in our suburb to begin. I’m trying to make something that looks somewhere professional whilst also standing out amongst the crap printed on A5 pieces of crap paper. And it will ![]()
I’ve found some lovely things on the internet as late - I might post some next week! :) Did ya’ll hear about Chris Brown? AND SEE THE PICS? What a fucking wanker. Excuse me.
My social life consists of not much at the moment. We played bingo on Wednesday night!! It was a blast. Both Steve and I (and most the people at our table) got a chance to shout “BINGO” at the top of their lungs. Mind you, mine was a little belated (I was the second claimee and the first claimee is obviously a GENIUS!) Who’s ever heard of a number configuration called and “Ice Cream Cone” anyway? The 12.50 was tasty. Steve won $80, always trying to out do me y’see?
Tomorrow is a day @ the races which should be fun
I have a little(BIG) white flower to wear in my hair and still contemplating a dress or a skirt. I’m actually thinking a skirt because it will probably be cooler. Plus after the races we’re heading out to a friends birthday dinner and then the casino!(with no money, lol). So hopefully a very long, very exciting day. I promise some pics.
I’ve kept up the healthy eating (grapes, anyone?) and I’ve actually seen the number on the scales go down for the first time in 18 months. This might not seem like much to most of you, but it’s been a struggle and I’ve been disgustingly good - and it will continue. I think I might ease up on the ‘no alcohol’ thing maybe just for tomorrow - 1 or 2 drinks will be a nice ‘hats off’ to my success thus far and should also placate the rumors of my pregnancy - I’ve just developed a stomach - ok? :(
Oh and some pictures!!
Birthday Battle Royale! - Two of our friends share birthday’s very close by, each year they celebrate in a birthday battle or sorts. This year it was lawn bowls. I felt like an old lady - but it was fun! Steve and I were both RED team and we WON. Yeah, that’s right - we’re good at old people stuff.
Happy Bowlers!
sad blue team memberss…
The day before bowling was valentines day (our anniversary - although now we having a wedding anniversary as well…) I woke up to some lovely tulips (yes, tulips in February - whatta man!) They were still cheaper than overpriced roses - I love roses too - but this year he got a special request for my faves :) I also received a lovely gift voucher for a manicure which I will use soon!
Before you look at these lovely flowers my bestest friend also sent me some flowers the same week. I had two gorgeous bunches of flowers from two people I love very much. The flowers from Bec were intended to cheer me up - and they did. We all have bad days and it makes me so happy to know I have a great group of friends/family who look out for me and are always there when I need them *tear* Life is truly grand.
We had a seafood buffet lunch, I’ve never felt so full before in my life. This photo would make my mother proud, lol.
See the first pic in this post for his royal sweetness <3 - 6 years? AMAZING ![]()
Oh also as part of my healthy cooking reigeme I’ve made some Thai Pumpkin Soup - it’s delicious and full of carbs, lol. This is what the pumpkin looked like before it went into the soup - it almost didn’t make it! Not that you would ever call this healthy, look at all that oil!!! I can assure you all my other meals were corkers - and all home cooked! The best? Steve’s vote is for Greek Chicken - mine ? ummm, probably the same. The biggest dissapointment?? The BBQ fish parcels - it tasted steamed - yick.
She’s make me happier - look how perfectly I cut them all - it took me forever - so I took a photo. Lame, lol. Under the carrot there is zuchini cut just as neatly.

The boys challenged eachother to finish 1kg steaks, I’m not sure who claimed vistory…
Mark won money….
and contemplated the meaning of it all….
like a tigerrrr!
picture of the week!!!
Happy Bday Dom
